MARKET VISIT DECEMBER
MARKET VISIT DECEMBER
Happy 1 month, Ripe-AFJ Blog!
I know it’s a bit silly to say this, but because we have managed to post our planned entries for the first month, we are really pleased and proud with the results, and by this initiative, we are confident that we will be able to further promote the brand, not just with our premium products but also with the services we can offer with our partners such as personalized cocktail tastings, workshops and a lot more.
Let me share with you some of our partners which I have visited, for December.
(Disclaimer: To our valued AFJ supporters, do take note that, all the outlets featured here are chosen randomly, and not in any way favouring one or the other. The outlets featured here are based on our market visit to a particular area.)
POD BISTRO (Philosophy of Drinking) – 697D East Coast Road
Sirloin, bratwurst, Cajun chicken, beer, cocktails and many more reasons to visit this hip outlet in East Coast road. If there is an on-going match, they would be featuring it, so you and your drinking buddies can consider this place for a T.G.I.F.
AMBUSH – Takashimaya B2 01-02
Happen to pass by in Takashimaya area, and spotted our 1883 syrups in this mini outlet that they have in the area. Ambush, if you fancy European fair, you can try this modern fast casual restaurant. I always have a thing for sausage platter, maybe one of these days, would pay them a visit again and try their platters. Shout out to their amazing team, and would love to collaborate with you guys for some beverage promotions for 2016! #ASKJAM
I was round Orchard area, when I noticed something familiar, our Coralba Premium Mineral Water! Alfredo Gusto Italian Restaurant has a very nice alfresco dining area, which is conveniently located in ION Orchard.
BROTZEIT – 1 Harbourfront Walk, Vivo City
I braved the lunch crowd, in Vivo City, and had their chicken salad, with a glass of our freshly squeezed orange juice. I actually wanted to be seated in the bar, but it was full, because I would want to have a simple chat with the barman, but then, maybe some other time. Nice display of our 1883 syrups on their bar.
COLONY, THE RITZ CARLTON MILLENIA SINGAPORE – 7 Raffles Avenue
This was some sort of “homecoming” since some of you may have known that I used to be part of the wonderful team of Ritz Carlton. And I must, the buffet spread was amazing. Let the pictures do the taking.
HARD ROCK CAFE ORCHARD – 50 Cuscaden Road
Hardrock Café will be going for a renovation for next year, from June until September, and we heard some of the iconic items including the famous chevy will be auctioned for charity. Well, we are all looking forward for Hard Rock Café’s comeback after this transformation!
SKINNY PIZZA – Skinny Market, Raffles City
Their Sister brand, Skinny Market, has recently been opened in Raffles City. You can just imagine the array of pizzas on the counter, you cannot simply resist.
JAMIE’S ITALIAN – 583 Orchard Road, Forum The Shopping Mall
Joining the list of celebrity chef restaurants here, is the 2nd outlet of Jamie Oliver. And let me tell you, we came before lunch time, the place was already packed. But we patiently waited, and the interiors, the vibe of the crowd and staff were amazing. Love the decors, very rustic!
Kanshoku Ramen – 227 Orchard Road #01-06
If you are in Orchard, and craving for some ramen, you can check out Kanshoku Ramen, which recently opened in Orchard. A bowl of savoury ramen with all the works, on a rainy evening, why not? Kanshoku means ‘to finish eating every last bit of your food’ in Japanese, by the way, and I am working out on their Yuzu themed drinks which will be perfect for their ramen.
A look out for some of the outlets or hotels which will open next year.
